All roads lead to Russia.
@georgetakei
It’s not the US that will save Ukraine’s democracy from Russia. It’s Ukraine that will save the US’s democracy by destroying Russia as a function entity.
@georgetakei
Got to give them credit though. They correctly identified, early on, how much of an easy target the US is.
@georgetakei It's a good job they didn't do that, then.
@georgetakei if it walks, talks and acts like a russian spy/russian sympathizer, it probably is a russian spy or sympathizer...
@OmegaVixens @georgetakei Everyone who disagrees with my political opinions is a Russian spy or sympathizer. It's like shouting "Fake News!" but with a couple of extra steps.
@gpilz @georgetakei no, you are missing the point, its not anyone who disagrees with me politically, I have no problem with legitimate political discord and discussions.. I'm very much an independent voter, I've voted GOP in the past, and I've voted Dem in the past... and while I think your trolling me, and trying to push buttons, I am willing to hear your side of things, but what I'm seeing right now is that everything points to russia, and trump gets A LOT of his funding from russian sources, this has been proven many times over... now if your funded by russia and you become a US president, have been caught with military secrets in unsecured locations, have shared military secrets with putin in the past openly.. then yes I'm going to assume your a russian spy with good reason... you've shown that you have no problem sharing classified information with russia, and your still receiving large amounts of funding from russia... what do you expect? now if you would like to discuss this like two adults, thats fine, take Mr. Takei off the @ list and we can discuss this just fine, but you arent going to convince me that trump isnt working for russia, too much says he is. again I have no problem with different view points, but another thing to keep in mind.. if you think the government should have control of what people do with their own bodies, things that should be between them and their doctors and no body elses business, just because some politician (whos probably been caught with their pants down in places they shouldnt have been) claims that they are dangerous and are trying to rape your daughters or wives, take some time to look up who has a higher % of attempted rapes in public bathrooms, and you'll find very quickly that the dangerous ones are GOP Politicians, not transwomen... if you think transwomen have an unfair advantage in sports, try talking to a doctor that knows something about trans health care, and what their bodies go through when they take HRT...
@OmegaVixens @georgetakei I don't think the government should control what people do with their own bodies. That's why I objected when Biden tried to render me permanently unemployed for not getting the clot shot.
@gpilz the clot shot? and I dont recall biden trying to claim anyone as permanently unemployed for not getting any shots... I'm guessing your talking about covid... since I looked up "clot shot" that and seems to be a republican bark phrase for the covid vaccine... sure lets talk vaccine... measles were eliminated in the US and Most of the world thanks to the Measles vaccine, republics take over ... quite frankly everything, and advocate against getting vaccines and now measles is back with people dying from them... got an explanation?
@OmegaVixens Why should I explain anything to you? If it's my body, your opinion is irrelevant.
@georgetakei And the GOP said: "Good idea!"

@georgetakei

Just sayin'

#Grüne
#SPD
#Neuralink

@georgetakei

This was long before #putin had anything like the power he has now. In those days he was part of the administration/'machine' in #stpetersburg .

@georgetakei … which does not exonerate people from the guilt that they willingly follow that propaganda and engage in all those divisions and conflicts.

And people can surely argue again forever who has to give in on what points to overcome those divisions. I can already hear the centrists saying that all kinds of progressives “also have gone too far”, also played that playbook and now have to compromise to not play into Russia's interests.

@georgetakei I read that book in 2016 - had to find a translation in a university library. It's not in general circulation.

Reads like the ravings of a lunatic.

Richard Spencer's wife, Nina Kouprianova has produced a translation and circulated her version around the GOP around that time. Guess they're into lunatic ravings.

@georgetakei #Putin has been planning this for a long while. And #Krasnov was his stooge. The kompromat he has on #donald must be monumentally disgusting.
@CanadianCrone
Seriously I think he's got video of him screwing a kid...I would bet money on it.
@palin #EpsteinGoldenShowers may pale in comparison to the kompromat #putin has on #donald.
@CanadianCrone Yeah....I truly believe it involves a little kid... he's a sick MF.

@georgetakei

And it is happening... very successfully...

@georgetakei @briankrebs my mom was a Cold War Russia scholar. I miss her insight so much these years but I’m also glad she didn’t have to see our fall to them.
@georgetakei ...bingo...trumpo and the MAGA-fascists have convinced half-ish of America that we're a better country by sowing division, allowing discrimination, imposing isolationism, driving christo-racism. All at the behest of putin and Russia. None of these ideas are "American"....and neither are trumpo & people who support MAGA.
@georgetakei The problem is two fold: 1) We no longer teach civics including how to spot propaganda and; 2) The USA has no structure to counter disinformation and propaganda.
@georgetakei Sounds pretty much 100% accurate.
@georgetakei the Americans have done that well enough themselves. You'd do well not to blame outsiders before confirming your own house is already in order.

@georgetakei

But why did the author suggested Russia should do such a thing?

Is it perhaps because of what happened to the USSR and Russia?

Anyone remembers Yeltsin?
