@ghostcatte I was dipping my toes in searching at now ex-company due to amounts of stress there. And woof yeah job market has been brutal even compared to 2023

@kefimochi yea. i mean some of it could definitely be my strategy / resume quality / something else, but:

it's been 2 full months and I've had I thiiink 3? companies want to interview me at all. One of them was from a recruiter reaching out to me, one was from a friend writing a rec. So actually only 1 company responding to an application I sent in.

@Bobsee Sadly what came next is 30 interviews and being told No by 2 companies after the final rounds(yesterday). So now I need to restart the search entirely from scratch 😭

@kefimochi Just so you know: The most accessible way for me (personally) to read Google docs as a screen reader user is to download them in an alternative format, but that option seems to be disabled. If this wasn't your choice and it's just Google's UI being typically bad, please ignore.

@jscholes Sorry about that! I thought the download option was a thing here as I told several people to do that that in DMs well that might be awkward 😅 Do you know an alternative way of sharing a pdf? Sadly can’t share it by creating a link same way Apple Photos does it

A quick suggestion, add (hashtags) where you are searching. Country, region, city of remote.
If you are looking for US jobs open positions in Europe probably aren't that helpful (or the other way around 🙃)
