really getting sick of macos. i like it 80% of the time but it does weird and frustrating things just enough that i am really growing tired of it.

is there a good way to use fb messenger without having the app installed on ur phone? i want to remove these apps but my family still makes heavy use of messenger, and using the desktop site on mobile is... not great.

ok i didn't realize apparently i was jumping in the deep end by buying an esp32-c5, which is different from most other esp32s. couldn't use the seemingly standard TFT_eSPI library, but eventually found another that should work to run the display i got. more experiments incoming!

When making Opencode agents, I ran into an issue with Zed. I set the "color" parameter using theme-based values according to opencode's docs (ie primary, secondary, error, warning, etc). Zed does not like this! So I replaced them with hex color codes and its fine.

How fucking inept is this DoJ that it took them this long to release anything, and the files they did release still had identifying information about victims? Absolutely ridiculous. Shows where they're priorities were when it came to redactions.
