Somebody from the #conservative bastion in #Kentucky is blaming "Liberals" for the election of #Trump. Liberals didn't vote for Trump. Conservatives did.

I guess the states where voters concerned about #Palestinians would've voted for #KamalaHarris if she & the #Democrats backed a #Ceasefire & #ArmsEmbargo while meaning it, weren't the majority who sat out (which was 15 Million).

Didn't help that people like you mocked & bullied people demanding a #CeasefireNOW & #ArmsEmbargoNOW by making "I'm speaking" shirts and literally floating the endorsements of #Republicans who were more worse than Trump

Medium

@Faithslayer202 @rameshgupta @Lassielmr

Worse, the UN solved the problem in 1947 for #India, #Pakistan, #Israel, and #Palestine with #TwoStateSolution. Only #Palestinians and #Arabs rejected that.

Et pour cause, c'est l'Allemagne qui aurait du donner une partie de son territoire, et non les palestiniens où les juifs vivaient en paix avant 1948

⬆️ @InternetDev

>> And for good reason: it was #Germany that should have given part of its territory, not the #Palestinians, where the #Jews lived in peace before 1948.

No, that wasn't a good reason.

#Arab & #Palestinian calls for #Arabism or #PanArabism in a land that #Jews had occupied since pre-biblical times was emblematic of same #antisemitic behavior rampant in Germany, #Russia, and Eastern #Europe even before #Hitler's #Lebensraum.

What part of "land that #Jews had occupied since pre-biblical times" did you miss?

You are talking last 100+ or so years. I am talking 2000+ years.

#Philistines didn't arrive in the region until 12th century BCE, while Jews already lived there.

Philistines (ancestors of #Palestinians) arrived from the #Greek island of #Crete in the southern part of the kingdom of #Judea, then called #Canaan.

I cited a proper #history book from where I cited information about #Judea, #Canaan, and #Philistines in a parallel thread, and I post it again here. It is impossible for me to engage with you without you presenting a credible corroborating source. Thanks 🙂

Even without a source, I can see where what you are saying does not actually contradict what the book says.

It never said anything about the genealogy. Only the geography.

That #Philistines came from the #Greek island of #Crete says nothing about their genes.

Once settled in the portion of #Judea then knows as #Canaan, they became #Canaanite, am I right?

Also, from the same article, "The Canaanite Phoenicians on the Syrian coast re-established their trading communities after the #Philistine and Aramaean invasions."

So, #Philistines were #Aegean, while #Canaanite were #Phoenicians.

Regardless of genealogy, they were not natives, but invaders.

#FirstTemple destroyed by #Babylonians was a human artifact, not a religious reference.

Philistine | Definition, People, Homeland, & Facts | Britannica

Philistine, one of a people of Aegean origin who settled on the southern coast of Palestine in the 12th century BCE, about the time of the arrival of the Israelites. According to biblical tradition, the Philistines came from Caphtor (possibly Crete, although there is no archaeological evidence supporting this claim).
