JoyceHumphreys@timsmalley I love the way a tree changes over the year. I did a pastel study of one that had interesting branches when I was in college. I have 3 beautiful pictures. When I came to draw the final picture, half of my tree had been cut down!! I still drew it but it wasnβt the completion I wanted. Still makes me sad

@shom thanks a lot. I use What3words to get close, and then just look at the framing of previous photos (plus EXIF) for exact focal length. I have 9 or 10 photos of this tree, and the framing did change a little over the whole series, but not significantly so.
