@Hyperlynx Fantastic. I posted something in this vein a while back, and it has been useful mantra:

I must not be cynical. Cynicism is the soul-killer. Cynicism is the little-death that brings total hopelessness. I will face my cynicism. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its root. From where the cynicism has arisen, there will be sorrow. Only empathy will remain.

When the take has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

For I will have muted or blocked the stupid arsehole and thus not bothered my instance moderators or otherwise sought to weaponise moderation
