The Treasury Department plans to print President Donald Trump’s signature on every new U.S. paper bill. Treasury announced the idea Thursday. Treasury says it would mark the first time a sitting president’s signature appears on new currency. The announcement is part of a broader push to put Trump’s name and image on public symbols. Treasury also backs a separate effort for a Trump coin. Earlier this month, a federal arts commission approves a design for a gold commemorative coin with his face.

The Oregon Court of Appeals issued a $10,000 fine to Bill Ghiorso, a Salem-based civil attorney, after determining he signed his name to a legal brief containing 15 bogus citations and nine quotes “that had been contrived from thin air.” To comment on this story, use the form at the end of the report.
India Street Lettering. A Journey Through Typographic Craft & Culture was conceived, compiled, photographed, designed and written by @matratype (Pooja Saxena), based on her years of walking around her home country hunting for new and (mainly) older street lettering for her collection.
The book features over 300 photos from 13 cities on more than 200 pages, grouped by business type (from banks to cinemas and restaurants).
The photographs are clear, straight on, and focus 100% on the lettering. The short texts make you feel you tag along with Pooja on one of her type walks. Sometimes with stories about a neighbourhood, next chapter you’ll run into to a multi-generational sign painting service around the corner.

Serious offer: i know how to make electric bicycles, electrify analog bicycles and repair broken electric bikes/scooters. If you are in #Brisbane, feeling fuel pinch, and want to get (back/newly) on two wheels, hit me up. Parts to electrify a bicycle cost a few hundred dollars, no need to spend $4000 on a store bike if you don’t want to. I even have some analog bikes we could use for parts. If you have access to ex rental scooters from defunct rental companies, i can also help resurrect these.
Will hold a weekend #ebike #escooter #micromobility workshop if there is interest.
ETA: if not in brissy i can recommend parts to buy
ETFA: if you have a good bike but a dead battery, this can be resurrected for around $100
ETEFA: your replies tell me I'd better pump out a blog post on this subject pronto.

For those unfamilar; there is no 'neutral', in this kind of Nazi-era German art. These are artists who were on the 'Gottbegnadeten-Liste', a list of artists who were endorsed by Hitler and Goebbels. Everything crafted and depicted served to promote the Nazi ideal.
The opposite was 'Entartete Kunst'; everything marked as 'degenerate' by the Nazi Party, and it's no coincidence that we see this kind of language once again from the far right all across the Western world.
They are, as the meme says, the same picture.
