They are doing all they can to support him because the minor modifications Biden has made and will make to American capitalism will cut into their bottom lines. This is why sociopaths have no business in business or politics.

I think that's why we can usefully discuss Joe's mental state. I like Biden, but I have no enthusiasm for his candidacy. Surely the Democratic Party has some stronger candidates. And all of the obvious ones are MUCH younger, too.

Arguing about Joe's mental state is a red herring presented to you by the Republican party because that is the only way that they think that they can win. They want you to question your reality, to divide the Democratic vote. Vote for Biden. Any other vote is a vote for Trump.
Sorry, I have to believe my eyes. Joe Biden is quite old and looks it. The orange puppet is old, too, but he's always acted like an angry child--and his fanatics love that.
I think Biden made a massive mistake by not taking the initiative at the "debate". I think Biden knows he's old and he should have come out and said that he was thinking about stepping out of the race for the good of the country. As things stand now, if Biden steps out he's tagged the loser.

@rbreich Biden is clearly experiencing the very early stages of cognitive decline like short term memory loss while Trump is very obviously rushing to complete insanity. None of that matters to the media, really. It's Trumps tax cuts they want. And they are reasonably certain that if Trump, once in office, is removed for cause (insanity) under Amdt 25, his successor and the GOP will carry through for them.
