I've started learning Mandarin. Slowly. To move things along, what I really need is a list (preferably curated by you) of bilingual Shenzhen locals who would like to serve as guides and translators. English-learning students or hobbyists would be ideal.

@SexyCyborg - came home to the book after picking up my new eyeglasses today. I was totally thrilled with my new glasses. Until I realized that I had just put them aside. Thank you so much for choosing such a pleasant, large font. It makes the book so relaxing to read. (Now with my glasses on again). Very happy! The book is nice and thoughtfully written - but for now I'm just really happy about the typography \o/
