⚪🛋️The first generation of Apple iMacs, built around CRT monitors with colorful enclosures, was succeeded by the white iMac G4, available from 2002 to 2004. It's the only iMac that separates the enclosure from the screen, but the result is still compact and visually pleasing.

@muzej it's one of the most beautiful computer designs as it made the computer look more like being a part of the room than some high tech complicated equipment.

@muzej It's one of the most gorgeous Macintoshes ever. I had one at a place I worked and it was so easy to adjust the monitor position.

Unfortunately the while plastic got dirty/decolored easily (and the DVD-ROM drive on mine died early on).
