1. tiny fierce crab spider in aster
2. worst bumblebee pic
3. the sedums were full of whirligig mites
4. aphids on those tall plants that look kind of like dandelions but, unlike dandelions, are always covered in aphids

@cohanf thank you so much! Upon skimming iNat I think it's some kind of Sonchus, I'll see if I can get good pictures of a plant of the same kind.

@nev this time of year Sonchus is very likely- they are latish, several introduced species. But I don't remember what similar things were in Toronto... we have a native Hieracium -umbellatum-that is latish, but they finished early this year! and not so tall nor robust as Sonchus, tending to flop, probably less so if fully exposed.
