@jamesthomson Had the same issue in Japan, app was nonstop errors and I finally got in on the website, but ended up with a Oct 4-12 date 😭

@alex @jamesthomson This is wild to me. I couldn't do any pre-pre-order thing on apple.pt, so I eventually got on, ordered my 15 Pro and made the Sep. 22 window somehow.
@hoserama99 @alex Might depend on what you ordered too, I went for the small blue Pro Max, which might be less common.

@jamesthomson I just got through too. Apple somehow lost my wife’s preorder, so I had to manually recreate that on the fly; lots of errors as I went through that too.

I did get Sept 20th delivery on both, however.

Website was a complete failure for me.

@jamesthomson Surprisingly had a good year this year, last year was a shambles.

Two MBPs pointing to the IUP page, two iPads with the app, and an iPhone — just one device (MBP, Safari) became available about 5 minutes in.

Everything else came online about 1:20pm.

@jamesthomson I managed to get in-store pick up in Glasgow on the 22nd. So if you can get to an Apple Store, maybe that’d work?

@ljpuk @jamesthomson The app wasn't working properly for me on multiple devices (and still isn't), it was only the website that would work in the end.

@craiggrannell it jumped last year due to payment issue mess but later that weekend it reset to launch day. Good luck!

@jamesthomson I’m on the upgrade programme and got on to the website after almost 25 mins. It showed pick up dates for Edinburgh store and I chose 22nd but now the emails say I’m 27-2 Oct. What’s going on!

@jamesthomson In the US, the app ALMOST worked for about 20 minutes.

About 20-25 min after, the app just started working, no issues, no time-outs.

Meanwhile, the website was stuck on "Almost there" for at least 5 more minutes after my purchase was complete.
