Thinking about how Outer Wilds didn't get the attention it deserved from the public because it came out the same year as the much more well-known The Outer Worlds, which confused a lot of people (myself included). And that's really a shame because the two don't have anything in common besides being space games with similar titles. The Outer Worlds is a disappointingly-average Western RPG from the folks that made Fallout: New Vegas. Outer Wilds is an exploration-based puzzle adventure, and a once-in-a-generation classic of the medium that artists, writers, game designers, and composers will still be citing as an influence 50 years from now.
So yeah if you skipped Outer Wilds because you confused it with The Outer Worlds and thought you'd already heard of it and evaluated it or even played it, consider this your official push to go play it immediately.
