Callsheet hidden feature: if you're debating starting a movie, because you don't know if you have enough time, tap on the duration:
Callsheet hidden feature: tap on a release date and it'll give you that date in relative time. Great to make you feel old as dirt.
@caseyliss sorry Casey, I really don’t need any help to feel old as dirt.
@caseyliss - You should make that in “periods of Siracusa Mac Pros” as a paid option. For John.

@caseyliss Hey, I’ve seen that movie!

Han shot first! I know, it’s on the Laserdisc :)

@caseyliss also works with movies yet to be released.

Neat!

@caseyliss thanks! And oh! The duration telling me when I would be done if I started now, that’s another great feature too!
@caseyliss I reject this.

@curtkrone sorry to lose you as a customer.

🙃🙂

@caseyliss lol. Signed up for an annual subscription about ten minutes after I tried it. But I am NOT tapping that. The pain is real.
@caseyliss opinion: this should not be a popover, it should just temporarily switch the text to the relative time span.
@caseyliss I recently rewatched Apollo 13. Someone online pointed out that the movie is now closer to the actual events of Apollo 13 than today. 💀
@caseyliss I’m assuming it’s just some rounding thing, but the screenshot is actually wrong. It should end a minute later.
@caseyliss should add pee break data lol
@monorailtimes @caseyliss There's an app for that, which should probably sell API access.
@caseyliss Are you considering an integration (not sure what the options are) for movie showtimes for In Theaters films? Obviously some hairy stuff implied with that like location data, but could be an interesting way to get folks coming back to the app each week.
@caseyliss ...aaaaand downloaded.

@djloehr @caseyliss i already have it on my phone

It's really nice that someone made IMDb usable again...

@caseyliss us Plexheads just have this on screen all the time (as you no doubt know) 😄
@caseyliss this one feature may just put me in the mood for a subscription.
@caseyliss That shouldn't be a hidden feature.
@chockenberry @caseyliss Maybe Casey thought “I want to make a the App Apple would make to replace IMDB”. In that case they’d totally hide it.
@chockenberry @caseyliss agreed!
I wished Apple TV apps integrated with iOS bedtime, with a mode only showing you movie you have the time for before bedtime.
@chockenberry @caseyliss word on the street is that @siracusa considers “when does the movie end?” to be a spoiler, so it has to remain hidden.

@mo @caseyliss @siracusa I'm talking more about the hidden gesture. There should be a button with a clock icon next to the time.

Magic interactions serve no one.

@caseyliss Great feature. One nitpick: the value should probably be calculated at moment of tap, not when view was opened. I opened the app to check it, it was already on a movie, and tapping the time showed me a value in the past.
@leviathan that’s SwiftUI baybeeeeeee!
@caseyliss put that prominently in the UI, I reckon that will be a fav feature :)

@caseyliss such a smart idea. I see it also works for the Released date :)

I do wish both were more discoverable.

@caseyliss Ha - jokes on you, I don't ever worry about this, and just accept that I'll be tired in the morning...
@caseyliss I had no idea that was tappable. That's a fantastic feature!
@caseyliss Nice! Love details like that! 😍
@caseyliss
Dude. That is clever AF. 👍
@caseyliss Wow. Feature I never knew I wanted until this. I'm someone whose clock starts when I get back to the employee lot until bedtime.
@caseyliss any chance of marking as watched 😃
@caseyliss I'm sorry, what app is this?

@kratoz29 My own! Brand new this week! :)

Announcing Callsheet

I am extremely excited to announce that Callsheet is now available in the App Store!

Liss is More
@caseyliss huh looks nice, sadly I can't try it, I'm an Android user 🥲
@kratoz29 Now's as good a time to switch as any! 😏 🙃
@caseyliss Super obvious feature for you to add to the pile or do with what you will, but I’d love to see a few options for where to buy a blu-ray or two. Digital options just seem to be worse than ever, even for whatever iTunes is called nowadays for buying movies.
@caseyliss that is pure genius right there! especially for a dad of 2 who doesn’t get enough sleep but loves to watch movies.

@caseyliss that is so great!

I did find an edge case for you: I re-watched RV (w Robin Williams) and the daughter is played by JoJo - must be a duplicate name somehow because Callsheet shows she was in movies before she was born.

@caseyliss OK this is brilliant.

Next, please identify the best point in the movie to pause and finish the next day 😂
