@marioguzman Oh man I love this so much. :D

@marioguzman These look wonderful!

Amusingly, I can't try them out because my Macbook is too old.

@marioguzman The Music Minimaker 🤩
@pam haha I love that!!!! 🥹
@marioguzman Brushed metal is off the sauce and looking great
@migurski thank you!!! Enjoy the apps!!! 😊 share with ur friends.
@marioguzman Thanks to you I live in a world where Dashboard never died (and instead rose to higher plane of existence— my desktop)
@marioguzman i like that the songs playing on the screenshots are from the intro videos of the os x versions that originally had those music players
@marioguzman music widget has now been my daily driver for over a year. Thanks for making it!
@marioguzman have you looked at the #panic #audion viewer (https://gitlab.com/panicinc/audion / https://panic.com/blog/facing-forward/)? A #applemusic controller like your 3 that supports audion faces would be awesome :)

@marioguzman and suddenly I’m flying through space towards a fresh snow leopard install
@marioguzman These look lovely! Any chance they can be adapted to work with Spotify?
@lukestringer90 it’s possible but just don’t have the time to update them or test (extensively) at the moment. I can just do maintenance and bug fixes at the moment. I have other priorities.
@marioguzman I love that you have the round widget style. Amazing.
@marioguzman nice touch with the matching wallpaper
@marioguzman definitely a classic feel to those!
@marioguzman They’re such great throwbacks! It’s a pity they’re for Music only, as I’d love these as frontends for Plex.
@marioguzman @pixel one day, I want a tell-all on why a whole Music Player app was written only to be replaced by iTunes
@marioguzman those are beautiful, wish they worked with @plexamp 😍
@marioguzman Now that macOS will support widgets placed on the desktop, have you considered transforming these into widgets?
@prismamidi I can’t. These are full fledged applications and I think widgets are bound to a rectangle too. These also use Apple Script.
@marioguzman Dang, it’s a pity widgets are so restrictive. Oh well, thanks for answering!
@marioguzman Hi Mario, I'm a long time user of your Music Widget & Miniplayer. Today I updated my macbook to Sonoma 14.0 beta 5 (23A5312d), and the Miniplayer crashed immediatly after launch. I can send you the bug report.
@marioguzman I worked on Music Player.app! One of the things they threw at me as a new college hire.
@marioguzman I literally run MiniPlayer all day because unlike the music app it gives you useful information without needing to hover over the “magical” disappearing UI. Imagine wanting to know how much is left in the current song and just seeing it!
@garyowen Apple isn’t the design powerhouse it once was. Not even talking about how it looks, but more so how it works. But they’re awful at both these days — especially on the Mac.
@marioguzman I just don't get it. It's like the design team learned all the wrong lessons from the success of iOS.
