Playdate Season 2 allows us to finally do what we wanted to do in this grand experiment from day one: give everyone the chance to experience a season together in realtime as the games come out.

Also you get Blippo+, whatever that is.

Also: shoutout to Telltale for keeping the same forum alive for over twenty years, and double shoutout to the mods who continue to keep it in order after all this time.
Sometimes, you get to update a fifteen-year-old forum thread from two jobs ago with good news, as a treat: https://community.telltale.com/discussion/comment/3061117/#Comment_3061117

Gonna go to (the city that hosts) GDC next week. Looking forward to it.
I think the most fun I've had working on a game was Delores with @DavidBFox. I think it was because the game was always going to be free (as in root beer) so we didn't care and just built what we wanted using found assets from Thimbleweed Park. Check it out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1305720/Delores_A_Thimbleweed_Park_MiniAdventure/
Delores: A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure on Steam

Delores is back home and working as a photographer for the Nickel News. Thimbleweed Park hasn’t changed at all in the year she’s been away… or has it? Sample Ron Gilbert’s new adventure game engine in this free prototype that uses “found art” from the award-winning Thimbleweed Park.

Really liked this from @joe_wintergreen, "Let Things Be Rare":

It's useful to think of "the investor" as one of many voices in your head when doing creative work, and recognize when it is speaking. Conventional design wisdom is very market-oriented. But sometimes you're devaluing a cool thing more by making "efficient" use of it, and are better off listening to the voices advocating for depth, mystery, delight, experimentation.
