#BOOST OK

I think it's been 4 years since I deleted my FB account.
The people that I matter to, know how to find me. Sadly that includes some of my kids.
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” (Dr. Seuss)
If it stays free / libre / open it will be great.
If it turns into a bunch of proprietary apps with ChatGPT connecting to corporate Mastodon servers, I'm out.
It's my Twttr presence that will eventually be reduced.
At the moment, the Kolektiva part of Mastodon feels like "home" to me (which is why I don't do the stuff that I do on Twttr here).
I'm being honest
Not sure
I need more up to date info
I try
I post @Yahoo news and @maddow
I love ALL the art
I love our pets
I really need news
That ugly bird kept us up
I'm not feeling that here
I kept up on the ugly bird often
I can miss an entire day here and still get more substance from Yahoo news than from here
Truthfully? It's disappointing
The reason I was on the ugly bird was to keep up faster
I really miss Patrick Skinner and the cats the most
Just sayin
Okay. But this time last year, how likely did you think it would be you would be on Mastodon?
@vowe I voted certainly, but how active I am depends on whether mass migration continues.
There are still plenty of communities that are important to me that don't have critical mass over here.
And the learning curve is steep enough and turned-off functions are common enough that I need to recommend weeks of getting used to this place to really enjoy it.
