I think this poll has a huge potential for misunderstandings.
Volker properly thinks of Mastodon as the whole Fediverse not even knowing about it or simply ignoring it maybe because he thinks anything other than Mastodon is irrelevant.
While me and educated Fediverse users think about leaving Mastodon because of its poor functionality compared to other Fediverse applications WITHIN the Fediverse (like me shifting to Misskey as of Today).
So I want to STAY here (as I already did way before all the Twitter trouble) but not necessarily on Mastodon. Because Mastodon imho follows some user unfriendly decisions (i. e. completely defective Markdown implementation, filtering Markdown format chars just to not show Markdown at all, destroying the meaning of certain markdown formatted posts and so much more) and due to its "market" dominance may bend the Activity Pub protocol in a way that it's getting incompatible to other Fediverse apps like Friendica.
Well, maybe I'm just a pessimist.
