World-curious Canadian. Author of pulptastic fantasy, dark fantasy and even a bit of sci-fi-lite!
Mythology, folklore, indie games and horror movies are my jam, but this isn't a 'themed' account so I may talk about anything that's on my mind.

βWhat's your favourite instrument?β
It used to be the (electric) guitar. But my opinion on that has changed through the years so that I actually like bass, violin, shamisen and piano better (all generally in a rock/metal context).
Not really sure which is my absolute fave, though. Depends on genre/mood/who's playing
Just watched a Taiwanese horror-comedy called (English name) Dead Talent Society that was both a bit too ridiculous AND kinda inspired.
It was about how hauntings are like undead reality show productions: you have a team of ghosts doing stuff like flickering lights or acting as body doubles while the main ghost gets ready for the big scare (and trains to contort themselves properly).
It also had a ghost called Little Red Hiking Hood who looked like Sadako meets Cousin It π

Well, I finished one of the two "Starless" sequels I'm working on - the labyrinth one.
Biggest freakin' mess I've ever written π I'm almost ashamed of myself, but I see potential in it too, if I can get it there in the re-writes.
If nothing else, at least I only have one book to finish now, which is a relief.
Cool slice of new, but oddly nostalgic-sounding #JRock
