There is a lot of politics in my feed this morning but what I'd really like to see is more plants and critters (both wild and domestic) and things like that. Can someone point me in the right direction?

@thelepper For me? I begin noting who is bringing the unwelcome subject to my feed the most and do a bit of unfollowing as needed. Not everyone all at once but the top two or three will really change the balance. Upon arriving at Mastodon, we follow everything that looks good, then there is a point where we need to prune a bit. Do what works best for you.

@thelepper I am in Ecuador and I saw a beautiful mot mot (bird) right next to my house this morning in a mountain paradise. I'm a terrible photographer, so no pictures to prove it. And, I got to pet two dogs. I'll pick up my orchids tomorrow and soon pictures of those will be posted since they don't move. But, yes the normal news cycle is back. We need more animals in the feed.
