I actually had my annual performance review today and I am happy to report that I am actually a good worker, in spite of all of my shenanigans.

Philomorph@Alice Holy shit - "Exceeds Expectations" is like the holy grail of review scores these days for any large company. Management tries so hard to not document people deserving a raise.

Bluedepth@Alice I celebrated that moment when I was ejected from my #HiEd job, by slowly feeding fifteen years worth of “Exceptional Performance” reviews and my “Congratulations on Ten Years of Service” award into the crosscut shredder at home. It felt amazing. Took a long time to start forgetting all that pain and trauma. But it helped me get to where I am, so it’s fine. My current job doesn’t bother with evaluations. LOL.
