Lately I’ve been writing science fiction novels. I’ve been reading more this year than I ever have.

Have a wonderful week ❤️

#WritingWonders day 15.
Are there any kissing and/or intimacy scenes in your story?

In the first two books in the series, the story is more about a group of friends. I do believe there are stronger feelings growing between two of the friends throughout these books. It’s possible there might be a intimate relationship and future books. Maybe.

#writingwonders Day 7: What is your favorite stage of writing a story? Why?

I think my favorite part of writing is the planning and outline stages where I can delve deep into the worldbuilding and character design.

The artist in me likes the creative aspect of the planning stages. The drafting and editing parts of the process is not as creative.

#WritingWonders 3: Do you think it's important for a MC to be likeable?

it depends on who the character is and what their goals are. There needs to be a likable character at least interacting with the main character of the story, otherwise the reader will not be able to relate. It does not have to be the main character though, I don’t think.

#WritingWonders 1: Doorstep.

Me: ...
CARRIE: ...
Me: ...A-Are you--
C: Yup.
Me: Huh.
C: You're treating your daughter right, yes?
Me: Pardon?
C: You've left me without a mother, in a lesbian love triangle, with a relative who wants me dead. You don't have women issues, do you?
Me: No. Not like that. Your story is about resiliency in the face of a temporal--
C: You're lucky I really enjoy the kissing.
Me: Ah. Right.
C: I won't make this any more awkward. Until next time.
Me: Ok. Wait, next time?
