"If the #BetaCodex, as well as consistent #selforganization and #decentralization are such great ideas, then why isn't everybody doing it?"

Whenever I hear that kind of question (and I hear it quite a lot), I like to reply this:
"Well, let's amplify that just a little. If #democracy is such a great idea, why isn't everybody doing it? What do YOU think?"

Understand the point.
But too simplifying. 🤣
I love term “Chaordic”, that Dee Hock seems to have coined in his book “one from many”.
He didn’t use terms „agile“ or „decentralized“, but describes them, still.

Anyway - Thanks to him (and others like you), I have come to conclude, that dynamic systems cannot be solved with static processes/sub-systems.

One good thing at the beginning of an organization will never be as good later on.

It’s all about balance…

@sam_liban Thanks for commenting.

Not quite sure why my statement is supposed to be "too simplifying". But maybe that was just meant as a joke?

The point of my post is to invite people to think about "why better social technologies do not promote themselves, and do not just get adopted without people making an effort."
Is your comment about that topic, too?

@nielspflaeging Then I apologize.

I had read your initial (?) message (with the quote of an recurring question you seem to get) as statement implying, that “decentralized” organizations or autonomous teams are a solution for everyone, anytime.

I was trying to make the point, that such a static view on dynamic systems is actually the problem, not the different static solutions, may they be “centralized” or “decentralized”.
The sweetspot is the always shifting point of balance.

@sam_liban
I think you are utterly wrong about the matter here.
You are talking of a "static view" I am supposed to have. But my view is not static. That word makes no sense in the context at all.
Your statement about a "sweetspot" is completely nonsensical in the context here, too. Why? The answer: Complexity.

Have you ever read or heard anything about our work with #BetaCodex and #decentralization? If not, you should take a look. If yes, take a better look.
Your "point" is just an opinion.
