I am still unable to tweet.
Twitter says I need to delete the tweet I sent that Twitter claims was doxxing (it wasn't). I appealed but haven't heard back.

The Appeal form didn't even appear to submit the data. This process must have been broken forever, and anyway: There is no way in hell Twitter could manage appeal processes with actual human beings.

I was in the same boat as you. I just delete the message that they thought was doxxing (which it wasn't) and then 8 day later, the asses at Shitter released my account.

It would be unwise to rejoin #twitter even if they let you. It is a not a public square where people come to share & exchange ideas. It is a private square where one majority owner decides what is allowed, and your presence there helps stand up that platform / company. It is obvious that #twitter has utility to many people, especially #journalists , but continuing to prop up a bad system is not the best path forward here. Full argument:

Elon Musk has supposedly lost about $124 billion, or maybe as much as the US government. He retains $148 billion, but that implies his Tesla holdings are only a third of his overall holdings. His business acumen is crappy, and he has probably damaged the Tesla brand permanently by trying to prove how red-pilled he is. I think Tesla shareholders will have something to say about his continued future running the company...

Keep posting here, advocate for CNN to include Mastodon links on all their articles, and the rest of us will keep evangelizing about open source federated services!

At this point the worst thing to happen would be Elon manages to shut up for a month (unlikely I know) and hires a semi normal ceo, all the journalists go back and people on both sides continue to use that product and fund its existence.

bluewave is coming@donieosullivan I don't think you will hear back. They objected to something I tweeted. I appealed, but never heard from them for about 5 months. Eventually, I accepted their complaint. It was a very old comment by then. I don't think they really have an appeals system.
