A majority of Americans, including 77% of young people, approve of labor unions.

Just thought I'd pop in and remind you of that.

@armyvet1972 at last! A new plot twist!
It's day 7 of me and some other journalists being suspended on Twitter because we reported factual public information that Twitter's "free speech absolutist" owner didn't like.
If you drew a Venn diagram of those who think Hunter Biden and his laptop is America’s biggest story and are outraged that Volodimir Zelensky didn’t wear a suit, you’d find in the intersection quite a crew of Trump- and Putin-loving “patriots.”

It has been a week since I was kicked off Twitter.

I am still unable to tweet.

Twitter says I need to delete the tweet I sent that Twitter claims was doxxing (it wasn't). I appealed but haven't heard back.

ByteDance used TikTok to track my location — and the locations of two of my colleagues — to try to find our sources. We reported on this back in October, but kept things vague to protect sources. Today ByteDance admitted it, so we can say much more:

EXCLUSIVE: TikTok Spied On Forbes Journalists

ByteDance confirmed it used TikTok to monitor journalists’ physical location using their IP addresses, as first reported by Forbes in October.

Every single Senator to vote against the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act was a Republican. https://twitter.com/jamieson/status/1605983621705129984

“BREAKING: In a rare bipartisan win, the Senate just voted to include the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act in the omnibus spending package. The amendment passed 73 to 24. This has been a years-long fight to guarantee basic accommodations for pregnant workers. It's a very big deal.”

“We believe banning journalists without consistent defensible standards or clear communication in an environment where many people believe free speech is at risk is too much for a majority of consumers to continue supporting Mr. Musk/TSLA, particularly people ideologically aligned with climate change mitigation." https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/19/business/tesla-stock-downgrade/index.html
Trickle-down economics has been an abject failure over the past 20 years. It’s time to invest in workers. Now.
My mastodon link at my pinned tweet on Twitter is now warning anyone who clicks on it that the sight may be “unsafe.”
You know what actually feels unsafe right now? Musk on Twitter.
