My 1st intro to computers featured punch cards, I quit that, but still ended up running a Retailer Top 100 website 10 years later.And I know more Dos shortcuts than you.

@CatDragon @JenWojcik I have friends who tell me how Millennials are "this way" and Gen Z is "this way" and everyone is shaped by what they experienced. Every generation experiences the same forces, but each person reacts differently. Generalizing slots people in places that may not fit.

@JenWojcik Hell no, I never learned punch cards. I wasn't trying to appear superior--apologies if that's how it came off. I was just saying those of us who learned (not everyone), did it when the environment was very volatile and change was rapid We became used to adapting.

@MHowell Yes, and I value quality over speed. Am also an Excel/Word master and can run circles around a fast texter who leaps before thinking without regard for what and how they communicate. We’re all threads in the tapestry that hold it together! Beautiful fractals. Thank you for your thoughts.
