Got The Beast sewing machine back from the shop. Unfortunately, they weren't able to repair the zig zag function because the gear that controls the little cam, which makes the needle swing back and forth, is busted clean through.

So the hubs liberated it from the machine today, threw the specs into a little CAD program, and is now 3D printing one to try it out.

Ours can't print nylon, so we'll have to have it fabbed somewhere. :)
