@marve Hi! Nice to meet you. Alto lines are the best until it's six straight measures of C-sharp and the sopranos get actual variety. Not that we ever have to deal with that, nuh uh.

@elmiller0330 I hear you. I went through a testosterone based puberty and got to sing each voice part as my voice slowly dropped and despite the occasional repetitive lines, singing alto was by far my favorite. So many good color notes are possible and I love when composers take advantage of that

@marve Yes! The director I auditioned with for my current choir actually gave me the choice between alto 1 and soprano 2, and I was like "...that's even a choice?"
