IMPORTANT PUB: Here we upend #miRNA dogma! We show up-regulation of proteins by direct action of miRNA is a common mechanism in cancer cells. We found that for ST6GAL1, which controls alpha-2,6-sialylation, miRNAs mainly upregulate the protein and glycosylation.
