Parapa Palace is the first dungeon in Zelda 2. We visit Rauru Town to learn the Shield Spell which cuts damage in half, grab Heart Container #1 near Parapa Desert, then dive into the palace. The crumbling bridge is tense, but we grab the Candle and defeat Horsehead to claim the first Crystal - 100% complete!"
In this Zelda 2 Grand Palace walkthrough, we already have Thunder from Hidden Palace. Navigate the Valley of Death with forced encounters. Grab Fairy, 1-UP Doll, Red Potions. Enter final palace, defeat Thunderbird who shoots fire, then face Shadow Link - your dark clone. Claim Triforce and awaken Princess Zelda - 100% complete!"

Another solid playthrough on the MacBook Air on macOS Sequoia, playing the Demo using a Steam bottle via Codeweavers Crossover (26.1). Works as expected, just as solid as on Windows or the Steam Deck.

We grab Heart Container #3, navigate through enemies like Mago and Sorcerers, get the Flute which reveals Three-Eye Rock Palace, and defeat Gooma who throws a huge spiked ball to claim the fifth Crystal - 100% complete!"

I am so looking forward to this game! Zelda II is my favorite of the 2D Zeldas, so having a game that takes that gameplay concept, and tosses on a captivating narrative with actual storytelling is incredible!
