Wow, looks like #yeasu will do a lot of things right with the coming #FTX1. There will be a fitting 100W HF / 50W VHF&UHF PA available. This could be the ideal flexible portable solution and could also replace my shack TRX in the future. So pls Yaesu release the radio, shut up and take my money 😂 wondering what #ICOM will do with the 705. Maybe we see something in #dayton ?

I've got an #dualband #elkantenna, programmed #yeasu #FT2DR with the #ISS #Voice and #APRS frequencies, got ISS Detector app, on my iphone. Alarm set for next pass! I'm gonna work #na1ss!

Went and attempted to activate k9222 this weekend #pota but didn't have any luck. 5w QRP with coil loaded vertical is tough. Made 6 contacts so not a total loss. Made a #frog #friend too.

Ordered another DigiRig for my FT-817 today. interesting note. they sell combined and short cables now. super excited for my #raspberrypi backpack on my FT817. less wires, less mess. alittle less weight.

Hello everyone! First off i'm new to Mastodon so thats fun.
I got into Ham radio a few years back but over the last year or so ive really poured time and effort into it. currently 100% portable i enjoy running qrp as well as building my own antennas. ive been doing alot of work on digital modes with PC, MAC, and mostly #Linux
