INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION — Tonight, the South Australian-based Australian Air League and tomorrow, Saturday, November 1, Queensland's Wavell State High School will make contact from the Q-Tech conference with the International Space Station via amateur 'ham' radio.

LOL checked the recording... I actually got to the International Space Station (ISS) via amateur radio, but did not get an acknowledgement from the astronauts. (apparently they did not get my callsign... but you can hear my signal coming back through the repeater).

I've got an #dualband #elkantenna, programmed #yeasu #FT2DR with the #ISS #Voice and #APRS frequencies, got ISS Detector app, on my iphone. Alarm set for next pass! I'm gonna work #na1ss!

RS0ISS is the International Space Station

KO6KL runs an APRS digipeater located in Salida, California (Stanislaus County), which heard the ISS packet and forwarded it to the APRS-IS service on the Internet.

The FEDI call (or any mention of FEDI) is detected by a bot I built, @fedi_aprs -- and tooted out!
