This time of year, kills me, not literally, but the spending gets out of control. There is our annual pilgrimage to Georgia for Thanksgiving, in which my wife and one or two of her sisters will host. Staying in a hotel, boarding Ben and Charlie, and feeding the town all cost money. After that comes Christmas (gifts), taxes, and insurance. I can see why Ebenezer Scrooge was always in a bad mood. Bah! Humbug! I speak. These is also an added bonus of repairs on the kitchen in our little house in Georgia this year. But things usually smooth out for the rest of the year. I'll mention this again next November as I did last. Tis the season. I might as well enjoy the ride.

These are the elements that make fireworks look nice & colourful, but...:
Animals/pets will be extremely frightened. The air gets laden with particulate matter. Lots of it. It‘s expensive and lasts only seconds. Better give the money intended for fireworks to a local animal shelter. Or to any kind of charity.
