Third little tidbit, somehow I knew Bobby Troup and Julie London were married in real life, and more recently I discovered Bobby was an accomplished jazz musician. What I didn’t know is that he wrote, “Get Your Kicks on Route 66.“

And, holy cow, was he seriously two years *younger* than I am now when the show first began airing‽‽
