A wren in Wytham Woods near Oxford.

I frequently hear them singing when I walk in the woods but can rarely spot them. This one was kind enough to perch nice and low and in a patch of sunshine.

These vibrant red circles nestled in the moss are not flowers, but fungi - Scarlet Elf Cups.

I spotted this cluster of them on some dead wood from fallen/felled trees in Wytham Woods near Oxford.

Another tootler encouraged me to post some #analoguephotography (thanks @aeromattsmith) So here we go.

One of my cameras on a very cold morning in a local wood, a resulting #largeformat #blackandwhite negative and a #cyanotype contact print.

I love these beech trees - challenging to photograph as they are up a steep hill and densely shaded most of the year.
