Today is the fifth anniversary of the death of Will Vinton.
You may know him as an animator but you may be even more familiar with his output; which was primarily in #claymation
As head of his eponymous studio, he was responsible for the California Raisins, and The PJs amongst countless commercials and short films.
A certain Phil Knight invested in the studio, and ultimately nudged Vinton out in 2002. The studio was renamed #Laika and Knight's son Travis took charge.
