So session one of our #wildemount game went off with a bang. Well.. a flatulent noise from a Horizonback Turtle, but still.
We made it in to the swamp after some dickering with the locals and a very stingy goblin in the service to the ogre in charge. Everything was going well enough until my character spotted something shiny on a raft and went to investigate.
All I am going to say is that adventurers need to take swarms of snakes more seriously, especially at level 1.
Excited to be beginning our #Wildemount campaign tonight.
So far we have a Drow/Tiefling Fighter, a Hobgoblin Blood Hunter, a Draconblood Wizard, a Tabaxi Monk and an as yet undecided character. It's been too long since our group all last played together.
Some of the new stuff on #Heroforge is great.
It is however really hard to make a #Wildemount Hobgoblin (or how I am envisioning one). I had to take the leonine face preset and modify it to get the wider nose.
(P.s. I can't wait to get to play... until then more obsessing!)

Wasn't happy with the bone/horn inlay on the previous attempt of the sword for my #Wildemount character so trying something else. Will probably keep iterating on it til I am happy. But we'll see.
also still trying to find my way rtound Krita as a program and shaking off bad habits from PS.
Going to be playing in a #Wildemount campaign in the not too distant future. I have my character rolled up for the most part, all the allies and rivals noted down and the special bits and bobs that follow. However I need to come up with a long term, achievable goal for my hobgoblin blood hunter and I'm really struggling to nail that down.
So I'd love to hear examples that others have come up with for their characters.
"Last thing you see, as you pummel the cultist to the death is a smile, on his weirdly unrecognizable face. At his death, he dissolves into worms and red crystals are starting to form around bones of old dead dragon. What are you doing?"
I was going to paint my hobby table today but its looking more and more like rain. So instead I am brainstorming magic items suitable for a #Wildemount campaign.
So far I have an idea for a set of enchanted (possibly possessed) gloves that upon using the command word will assist with a physical skill check within the bounds of Performance or Sleight of Hand.
And part of me wants to describe them as being white and oversized with only three fingers... (but that would be silly :P )
