I have a tradition.
It's not an annual thing. It just happens occasionally. More as I get older, fortunately.
Mostly it's when I'm out hunting for insects, or having morning coffee in a comfortable garden chair.
And then I notice that I'm quietly happy and content.
When this occurs, I always mark the occasion with a quote from Kurt Vonnegut -“If this isn’t nice, what is?”
Bird feeding station live camera in an English wildgarden. Just saw a bunny.❤️

The new pond is coming along nicely. Two old solar powered fountain pumps converted into a homemade little waterfall. I am chuffed. The bees should have a safer time getting a drink of water.
