I don’t think I’ve ever spotted a peacock butterfly in our garden before, but they are very welcome!

(This was one of a pair who were fluttering about and sunbathing in our mostly wild flower patch)

I finally started a channel on Peertube - or two actually, the other one, Kirjakanava, is for my Finnish book content. 12 Yellowhammers visiting the garden, with a few just beneath the living room window!😍
They are eating the seeds from the long/ wild grasses, flying around and spreading out in an area around the trampoline.

There are some juveniles as well, so despite that trees along some field roads in the area have been cut for the purpose of "Green" Energy, some yellowhammers are doing well.
