Josh StrangeI really wish #Apple wouldnât offload apps that have displayed widgets (or at least let us mark apps as ânever offloadâ). Iâve now had it offload #Widgetsmith 2 different times. No, I donât open the app often/ever but thatâs because itâs doing exactly what I want, displaying widgets.
@_Davidsmith do you know of any work arounds? I have at least 1 other app that I never open and only look at the widget which has never been offloaded. Not sure whatâs different, I donât pay for it but I do for WS

Thank you iOS 18 for âhelpfullyâ offloading #WidgetSmith from my phone since I guess I hadnât opened it recently. No big deal that it broke my first homescreen which has multiple widgets from that app that I look at every day⊠#iOS #Apple

The Hourly widget implicitly has all this information, but Iâm thinking more about the Outlook widget with an added clock. For now, Iâm just stacking two different widgets, no big dealâŠ
