Acabo de terminarme Wavetale y buah me ha encantado 💜🎮
Tiene cosas que mejorar a nivel movimientos de cámara y cosas técnicas, pero la historia es preciosa, la música acompaña muy bien y le pillas cariño a los personajes. Encima tiene mensaje y enseñanza ecologista

Wavetale Review: Riding The Waves (PS5)

Wavetale overcomes audio/visual inconsistencies to showcase an enjoyable escapade on the archipelago of Strandville. While the game could be construed as one massive side quest, controlling Sigrid around the world is forgiving, being able to glide around the ocean at will. Simple gameplay and short runtime hide a well told, emotional story about learning from past mistakes. It is a pleasant adventure with great music.

Wavetale is not a big game, I expect to finish it in 2-3 evenings. Music is pleasant, I like the goofy animated avatars. But for me on a highly subjective level maybe the most important is the vibe, that no matter the apocalypse, people will continue to love their closest and care for them. And in these times? Yes, I need that vibe, all of it.

New #HaterReviewsMadeMeBuyIt – #Wavetale, a lightweight postapo 3D platformer. I'm bad at platforming, but got really intrigued by "having too much story". I'm around midgame. Platforming is on the light side, apart from optional speed challenges I don't struggle. Tutorial – very short. And so far I truly like the story. I wouldn't consider it particularly long or deeply intricate, but I follow interactions between grandma (born way before apocalypse) and Sigrid (born in new world) with care.
