I spent three weeks crafting a giant papier-mâché breast to celebrate the "first food" of a nation for my installation ‘Raising A Nation’.

Inspired by the laundry billowing from Portuguese balconies, it celebrates the women who shape, feed, and fuel our world!

It’s more than just washing; it’s about the ancestral power we carry forward.

Someone explained what type of #detergent is best for #dishwashers and #washing machines intuitively: "Always use powder. "Liquid", "tabs", "discs", and "pearls" are more expensive than they need to be, are often overdosed, and can damage your machines if used for prolonged periods. Curse UI ‘designers’

Not running at the moment as I bashed a knee on a steep descent, but I thought I would take advantage of the lull to do the mid winter wash of much grubby clothing (troos and down jackets) plus a duvet. Off to the commercial was and dryer.

Wash done and then I find the dryer is broken!!! No warning before I started and not visible until the wash is finished. I would like to have a ‘quiet’ word with whoever designed it.
