#Warp opensourced its core terminal client on Monday under an AGPL license, with OpenAI sponsoring the new GitHub repository. Warp is a full terminal emulator (iTerm, GNOME Terminal, Windows Terminal, etc.), but with an agentic layer on top. I have no idea who would use this but it’s #OpenSource so it is cool if having #AI in your terminal is something you’ve been looking for. I will stick with #Terminator

Just saw that they open sourced warp (the terminal that turned into LLM slop) and decided to look at some of the remaining terminal emulation pieces.

There's some *interesting* similarities in the terminal code I've looked at so far:
