Thoughts on #Omarchy before getting rid of it and going #CachyOS + #Niri

1. Installer is nice, has an RPG-like feel to it and while being keyboard base, it's pretty intuitive and easy to use
2. Predefined themes look really good
3. It is too bloated for my liking, I understand the purpose but prefer the minimal setup approach, specially regarding installed apps

Taking it as learning experience, seeing it is a script, I am now curious about making my own to fit my needs.

The way everything has become a #gacha has to be studied.

I despise the gacha business model.

I was today years old when I learned #bun expands $ as variable interpolation in .env files AND auto-responds pings on web sockets.

Nice to know, was having some issues because of this.

You know why I stopped using apps like #Inkdrop and #Obsidian?

Because of their stupid characters limits that make their app crash if you paste a string that surpasses that limit.

Why the hell is there a limit to how many characters you can have in apps meant for note taking?
