You would see middle aged people buy a PS2 just so that they could listen to their favourite #Walkmans or to watch their favourite movies. Not to mention the incredible selection of games made that solidified gaming both as an art form and a hobby. In Europe and Asia PS2s are STILL being traded and modded and older bought consoles still function. You just had to be there, no other console has come close. Older people call every piece of electronics a PlayStation to this day due to the fact.(2/2)

@gnitro I've got a collection of fully working old #walkmans but I'm always interested in new models that keep the format alive.
The 'Its OK' looks a lot better than the 'We are rewind' which is a massive brick!

@paulomalley I've got a few old #walkmans due to my love of the #cassettetape format and old Hifi.
This one can really ramp up the volume and drive big old headphones like my absolutely massive Sony DR-9's
I'm also aware it can't compete with the sound quality of this latest walkman incarnation but that $1k price tag is very steep 😬
