Lee RoweLast night I sat in awe amongst many rangitira of Tauranga Moana as the amazing Mererina Murray was farewelled from Tauranga City Council where she has worked for 30 years. She started at a very difficult time following the protests & occupation of the old town hall, and did a lot of the heavy lifting to heal relationships. What a beautiful wāhine toa & incredible legacy she leaves. I feel so blessed to have been there & say a few words in her honour. #WāhineToa #TaurangaMoana
