I am actually tempted to try this - lad says he is 1,86m tall (I am only 1,65m tall so would have even more room) and it was even comfortable during winter when he was visiting places up mountains with -11 degrees Celsius at night - just need to remember that everything in the interior is the other way round in a right hand drive car #VWPolo #VWPolo6C #CarCamping

*5 hours* out in the yard today to install new microswitch unit for #VW #DSG gear selector - whole entire centre console of #VWPolo had to come out - a bear of a job, especially removing a fiddly connector for the USB and getting it over the handbrake lever). Switch fitted and then it all has to go back together.
At least now I don't have "error: workshop! Leave vehicle only in position P" randomly appearing and USB music playback still works #CarMaintenance #AutoRepair #bladibarsket
High level #brake light stopped working last night - found broken cable in loom between C-pillar and tailgate (this is a common problem due to the boot being constantly opened and shut). Managed to splice cable (after initial hassle with a duff splice I had to cut off and being left with even shorter bit at the tailgate end to work with. Tested the fix, wrapped splices and extra cable piece with Tesa tape and put the grommet back on..

I've mostly always driven #superminis and am regularly on the road late at night - whilst I've noticed other drivers take more chances if I'm in something like the shed of an #Opel / #Vauxhall #Corsa we use as a fleet car, I rarely get bother in the #VWPolo - but I suspect many they see a brown man who looks younger than he is, think "he's probably got a knife in the door card" and their paranoia is the only thing stopping any conflict..
Finally a day when it was not pissing down nor below zero, so took the opportunity to do a maintenance wash on the #VWPolo to clear a months worth of winter grime #CarDetailing #Valeting #AutoDetailing #Detailing
