Das heutige Instax-Bild ist ganz klar unklar. Ein gutes Symbolbild für heute. Es wird ein spannender Tag, jedenfalls für mich. Linol-Druckfarben selbst anreiben, so wie die alten Pinselmeister. Rubens und Vermeer sind nahe. Na ja, fast so. Aber das Gefühl ist ähnlich. Und ich freue mich gewaltig auf diese Büchse der Pandora, die ich mutmaßlich gleich öffnen werde. Garantie auf Erfolg gibt es keine. Trotzdem! Gerade deshalb. Ich brauche das jetzt. Öffnet sich jetzt ein neues Feld für meine Linolschnitte?

Today’s Instax photo is decidedly unclear. A fitting metaphor for today. It’s going to be an exciting day – for me, at least. Manually grinding linocut printing block ink, just like the old masters of the brush. Rubens and Vermeer are close at my side. Well, almost. But the feeling is similar. And I’m really looking forward to this Pandora’s box, which I’m likely to open any moment now. There’s no guarantee of success. Nevertheless! Precisely because of that. I need this right now. Is a new field opening up for my linocuts?
