So I've been running a Vampire game the past few months for a few friends, and I'm having a ton of fun with it. :3

My coterie is going to learn they're working for a Baali Anarch Baron next session, and I am *so stoked.*

She's this joyous, happy-go-lucky thing who's probably, honestly, a little more horrifying because of that than otherwise. For context, their first encounter with her saw her with another vampire staked on her coffee table, using the flat end of the stake itself for a footrest while they talked.

She's always in a sing-sing voice, always happy, always chipper. :3 ...And she's definitely exsanguinated one guy in front of them. They have an inkling of how terrifying she really is, but next session?

"And remember: Splash Zone!" (Literally her warning to them.)

Oh great, now we can't publish our kinky Vampire: The Masquerade homebrews via itch, in all likelihood not even if we weren't giving people the option to donate to us (as is allowed under Dark Pack).

Actually *played* in a VTM 5e oneshot today, playing a tremere who made all the right choices. :D This reminded me, rather hard, that I *really* miss running Vampire.

It's not that I dislike D&D, make no mistake - it has its place - but it's fun when the characters aren't essentially superheroes and the world is hard and often weird.

Time to open a new project and consider recruiting online. What are folks' preferred online platforms for finding players for an online game?

(I should probably work up a questionnaire/application for folks to fill out...)

So, tonight:

The party has found that fleshcrafted abominations have been stalking the city by night, transformed from thin bloods. They found the original identity of one of the fleshcrafted, and from there got directed to speak with Dr. Bill, at the university.

Dr. Bill turns out to be a Tremere, looking into the secrets of thin blood alchemy.
