Is the ECI’s home-voting facility being gamed? 🗳️
We see volunteers carrying the frail through remote hills to vote, yet in cities, "Hatta Katta and Lamba Chowda" octogenarians—who bike to the market daily—are voting from their sofas. Age is a number; mobility should be the metric.

The First Past The Post voting system undermines our politics. It leaves most of us with MPs we didn't vote for, and keeps delivering results that don't represent public opinion.
The upcoming Elections Bill is a chance to address this. I just signed a petition to the Democracy Minister, calling for the system to be changed to Proportional Representation.
Can you add your name?

@americanfietser.bsky.social "no taxation without representation."
I mean, everything you're saying, but this is just one of the signs becoming more obvious lately that we are in a crisis of democracy. Lack of legitimate representation in the USA is real, and has been for a long while . I think #uncapTheHouse and other #votingReform like #RCV are going to have to be part of getting us out of it.
Good. But if it's fairness that the UK wants, then a change to a form of PR is necessary.
